Fluke T6 - Electrical Tester.

Led the Industrial design effort to help develop the first precision noncontact voltage and amperage meter. 

Being an Electrician, you are always in a dangerous situation where a mistake may cause severe injury or death. 

Product need:  In electrical measurement, there is always a need to innovate for new products that are safer and more intuitive for our users. At Fluke, I had the opportunity to be part of a small agile technology team that looked into the future and made it a reality.      

Solution: Fluke T6 is the first hand-held, noncontact electrical tester to measure DC voltage and amperage simultaneously. Before the T6 test instrument, electricians were required to take two separate measurements, first for amperage and then using test leads for AC voltage. With the new device, the user can save time and make it much safer by not physically contacting a live wire with a test probe.
